About Prom

Registration​

• ​Patients must register by May 16* by filling out a registration packet, which can be found here when it becomes available

* Please reach out to Michele (Michele.Rothstein@UHhospitals.org) if your patient ​wishes to register after May 16 as space is limited​

Transportation

• Patients must be transported to the venue by an approved adult OR by provided transportation (limo/party bus) from the designated pick-up/drop-off location for each hospital to the venue.  More specifics will be shared closer to the date of prom, after registration has been received.

  • Akron: Ronald McDonald House Akron:
    141 W State St, Akron, OH 44302​

  • Cleveland: UH Rainbow Ahuja Center in Midtown (has 24/7 security guard):
    5805 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44103

• Patients and/or their guests may not drive themselves to or from the venue due to liability 

  • There is no parking directly adjacent to Truss

• Designated adult drop-offs must utilize the valet lane in front of Truss entrance and can occur at or after 6:45pm

• Attendees must arrive by 7:30pm

• Attendees must be picked up by 10:30pm by their designated adult and can utilize the valet lane. Parents must sign out the individuals that they are picking up. 

  • Please note that the adult picking up the prom attendees must be listed on the approved pickup list on the registration packet and must present a val​id photo ID at time of pickup.
