Yes! Truss Event Venue is completely wheelchair accessible. The entrance is flush with the outdoor walkway and the fully accessible ninth floor is just a short elevator ride away.
The venue is indoors, however, there is a balcony overlooking the city that attendees will have access to, weather permitting.
We will have a private security guard during the entire duration of the event. The limited-access elevators for Truss run exclusively from the first to the ninth floor where prom is being held, only allowing event staff and guests into the space.
Oncology nurses from each hospital will be in attendance and on busses in case of emergencies.
Dishes will be labeled and common allergens will be listed. If you have an allergy or require a special meal, please let Michele know by emailing Michele.Rothstein@UHhospitals.org
Yes! We have a dedicated quiet room that will have crafts, board games, and plenty of seating should the atmosphere become overwhelming at any point.
